About MIRKale
Gear that survives a real household
MIRKale started in 2016 for the least glamorous reason possible: we could not find a dog bed that survived more than a year. Beds flattened into pancakes, covers split along the seams, and the cheap ones smelled of chemicals for a month. So we had one made properly — a real foam core and a cover that could actually go in a washing machine.
That first bed still defines how we work. We buy from a short list of workshops we have visited in person. Every product is used in our own homes before it goes on the site. And we would rather carry five categories well than fifty badly — when something does not hold up, we stop selling it and tell the customers who bought it.
Today MIRKale ships across the United States and to a dozen countries beyond it. The rule has not changed: if we would not put it in front of our own dog or cat, it does not go in the catalogue.

Spent fifteen years in veterinary supply before joining MIRKale. Tests every bed against a 90 lb labrador called Bruce.
